House Rules
These are our general house rules. Any location or bingo specific rules will be included in the event listing.

No person under the age of 16 is permitted in the Bingo Hall, with exception of workers/volunteers.

The Bingo Hall will be opened at 11:30am, canteen at 12:00pm. Bingo sales will begin at 1:00pm.

Mini Bingo begins at 1:40pm with main bingo following. All games are expected to be completed no later than 5:00pm. A 10-minute intermission will begin upon completion of Game 14, or Game 10 of the regular books. The Drag Show will begin after the intermission which is estimated to be around 3:00-3:15pm. Bingo will commence again after a brief intermission (time permitting).

Maximum attendance will depend on venue (ESRC 300 people)

Payment is cash only, there shall be no checks or credit accepted to play

No books or special paper are to be played from other Bingos.

Each player is required to purchase minimum of two-3 up single, or one-6 up double regular game booklet/s to be eligible to play bingo, and extra specials.

No excessive noise, please mute, or power down cell phones.

No person acting as bingo caller, or checker can play bingo throughout the evening.

The bingo will respect provincial COVID-19 rules, at this time masks are not mandated, but patrons are encouraged wear masks.

All regular book sales shall be completed prior to Special 1 in the game books.

Players are responsible to call “Bingo” clearly and loudly so the caller can hear them.

Players are expected to be ready for the next game. A short time is provided for setting up cards.

Bingo players are to raise their hands with the winning card to alert volunteer staff.

Once the caller has dropped the bingo balls and the game is announced “closed” no other bingos can be honoured.

In the event of cancelation, local radio, and facebook page “Eastern Shore Pride - Nova Scotia” or website https://www.easternshorepride.ca/ will be the means of notifying the public.

There will be no saving tables for other players, but accessible tables are reserved for players with disabilities and their companions. These table are located on the south end of the bingo hall, with close access to the exits, washrooms and canteen facilities.

Accessible washrooms are available. Please ask canteen staff or volunteers for keys, or more assistance.

Bingo is expected to be completed around 4:30pm, but delays may happen. If Game 18, or Regular Game 11 has not started by 4:15pm representatives will allow “1 Line or the 4 Corner” games in place of “2 Lines or 1 Line and the 4 Corners”. This is to ensure that the bingo will close before 5:00pm.
