About the event
"The Mitchells vs. the Machines" Directed by Mike Rianda, is a heartwarming and humorous animated film that explores themes of family, technology, and acceptance.
It follows creative outcast Katie Mitchell, who is thrilled to finally head off to her dream film school. Her plans are hijacked when her well-meaning, tech-fearing dad cancels her flight to force one last family road trip instead. However, their awkward bonding time is cut short when a sudden, global robot apocalypse captures all of humanity. Now, the quirky and dysfunctional Mitchell family—along with two broken but friendly robots—must overcome their differences and team up to save the world.
